The Missionary of Charity Brothers is an International Religious Family of Pontifical Rights. The Congregation was founded by St. Mother Teresa of Kolkata on September 10, 1946 with more than 100 countries served. The Missionary of Charity Brothers is under the active branch with 68 mission centers operating around the world.
In the Philippines, the International Missionary of Charity is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as Regional Servant of the Missionary Brothers of Charity, Inc., a non-stock, non-government organization. Following the footsteps of Mother Teresa, the Missionary of Charity Brothers continue to provide care and comfort through direct services to the identified poor. One of the residential facilities run by the institution is located in Cavite, the Bukal ng Kapayapaan Home for the Abandoned Special Children.
The Home houses both the residential facilities of the children and the Formation House of the Missionaries of Charity Brothers. The facility caters special children for short/temporary shelter and long term care. Over and above the residential facilities, MOC caters communities here in Cavite as part of the apostolate mission. The services are provided to recipients regardless of their religion, creed or personal belief.
They are the one who manage the charity and helping those special abandoned children to feel loved and cared also to provide a facilities for them to have a home.
The children who have mental, physical and developmental disabilities who are identified as totally abandoned and in need of residential care. They are the one who the brother looking after and give them a tender love and care.
They are the one who helping the brothers in giving love and care for the children through donating some money and foods.
